Cards repainted with new colors and personalities. These are the unreleased tracks converging in Dromomania Remixed, out today October 2nd, 2026 via Bronson Recordings, with distribution by Universal.
According to Cemento Atlantico, the electronic project of Romagna-born producer and DJ Alessandro “ToffoloMuzik” Zoffoli: «I wanted to give new life to some of the tracks on my latest album, Dromomania, and I did so by working with various Italian producers, friends, and collaborators. I like the idea of listening to the interpretations of people I respect; I find remixes are new forms of life that change intentions and movements».
Dromomania, released by Bronson Recordings in the summer of 2024, is the second album by Cemento Atlantico after the cult instant classic debut Rotte Interrotte of 2021. It’s an album between electronics and world music that evokes the unstoppable desire to travel and thinks of music as a collective ritual, starting from field recordings aimed at telling stories and different cultures.
This collective ritual is now amplified with the involvement of Daniele Baldelli & Matta Dallara, TenGrams, Bodam Project, Clap! Clap!, Carte Gold (new dance project by Bruno Dorella from legendary experimental noise band OvO), Alessio Collina, and Amarcord. Seven signature remixes for an overwhelming flow of rhythms from Thailand, India, Nicaragua — where the monkey on the cover was photographed — and Panama, blending cosmic sound, dance music, soundscape, ethnic influences, clubbing influences, UK garage, and new wave.
The first single, and opening song, is Garawek Khaos [Daniele Baldelli & Matta Dallara Cosmos Remix]. Daniele Baldelli, one of Italy’s top DJs pioneer, who in fifty years of career has revolutionized the way of conceiving DJ sets and the clubbing culture, and Matta Dallara, internationally renowned producer and sound engineer, have rewritten the coordinates of the hit single Garawek Khaos through the sonic vortices of Cosmic Sound, a unique style coined by Baldelli himself in the early 1970s, still enduring and innovative. This is a new identity for Garawek Khaos, moving from spiritual state to global dancefloor without compromise.
At the center of listening there is Kashi Fire [Clap! Clap! Remix], an immersive tribal ethno-electronic reinterpretation where ancestral grooves merge with futuristic sound design. A vibrant electronic remix infused with organic percussion, global influences, and Clap! Clap!’s signature groove. Cristiano Crisci, professionally known as Clap! Clap!, is an Italian ethno-electronic music producer and DJ, renowned for his distinctive blend of electronic music and field recordings sourced from diverse cultures and regions around the world.
Danza Negra [Alessio Collina Speed Ragga Remix] takes you down old-school speed garage paths, with an original and genuine touch that allows the remix to break away from classic patterns, creating a solid and decisive club stomper. According to DJ and producer Alessio Collina, a house music and vinyl lover: “Listening to Danza Negra, I immediately had an idea of how to approach the remix. I was inspired by 187 Lockdown’s The Don and wanted to create a synergy between the marimba and vocals of the original track with the depth of the bass and the swing of the groove achieved with my MPC1000″.
The tracklist ends with the focus track The Land of Lions [Amarcord Remix], realized by Amarcord, the project by the young, eclectic and already established DJ and producer Marco Catapano, deeply influenced by 80’s and 90’s sounds. According to him: «I chose to remix The Land Of Lions for its suspended, almost ritualistic atmosphere. I tried to keep its identity intact, transporting the track into a slightly hallucinatory dimension, between chuggy post-disco and slow techno». Ready to travel again?
