Tin Woodman<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>band return to take you to\u00a0Tropicalia Woodie Resort<\/strong><\/em>, the new single available on all digital platforms from\u00a0June 18th, 2021<\/strong>, in the usual month of the Pride parade, via\u00a0Retro Vox Records<\/strong>.\u00a0“We are an atypical and different band, so why shouldn’t everyone be different from each other and be able to love who prefer? We have created a place where anyone can do it:\u00a0<\/em>Tropicalia Woodie Resort”.<\/p>\n

The Italian band, formed by\u00a0Simone Ferrari (Simon Diamond)<\/strong>,\u00a0Davide Chiari (Dave The Wave)<\/strong>\u00a0and obviously\u00a0Tin Woodman,\u00a0the robot<\/strong>\u00a0landed from the secret city of Wautah in order to become a rock star, organized a festive trip that brings together the glam music from the 80s, catchy indie pop melodies, robotic rap and sci-fi setting\u00a0in a celebration of\u00a0LGBTQIA+<\/strong>\u00a0rights and love as absolute autonomy of choice: “We looked at Tin Woodman as a creature not sexually defined and therefore without prejudice towards anyone, who urges ‘humans’ to participate in life as a gigantic party organized in the most vicious Resort in the Universe. The freedom to be oneself, to perceive oneself in relation to our most intimate desires, without the fear of the others’ judgment, is the theme of the song and is the characteristic we love most in people. The future must be a riot of colors, the rainbow colors, as happens in every verse of this song<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n

The inspiration that triggered the writing of\u00a0Tropicalia Woodie Resort<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0has been Pike Resort, in Ibiza, the most popular holiday destination for stars in the Eighties and the epitome of a musical and cultural movement. Featuring Michele Marelli on drums and Chiara Amalia Bernardini from KICK on the choirs, the song speaks of a magical place with vibrant tropical atmosphere, in an explosion of diving into the pool, stars and showers of diamonds. At\u00a0Tropicalia Woodie Resort<\/em>\u00a0there are no genders, there are no categories, there is no race and there are no inhibitions.<\/p>\n

So, Simon Diamond and Dave The Wave returned to the recording studio, at La Buca Recording Club in Montichiari, Brescia, after releasing the debut EP\u00a0Metal Sexual Toy Boy<\/em>\u00a0in 2017 and the first album\u00a0Azkadellia<\/em>\u00a0in 2018. Meantime, they\u00a0have always been engaged in long tours, also supporting colleagues such as Public Service Broadcasting and The Last Internationale, and are\u00a0currently working on a whole new live set,\u00a0and Tin Woodman, the world\u2019s only on-stage music-making robot, is getting revamped, with a new feature upgrade covering lights and movements.
