{"id":6752,"date":"2020-10-02T10:58:37","date_gmt":"2020-10-02T08:58:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/digipur.it\/?p=6752"},"modified":"2020-10-02T10:58:37","modified_gmt":"2020-10-02T08:58:37","slug":"tempo-reale-release-new-records-by-zumtrio-and-minus-radioscapes-and-round","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/digipur.it\/en\/tempo-reale-release-new-records-by-zumtrio-and-minus-radioscapes-and-round\/","title":{"rendered":"Tempo Reale release new records by Zumtrio and Minus, &#8220;Radioscapes&#8221; and &#8220;ROUND&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The historical research, production and musical teaching center <strong>Tempo Reale<\/strong> release today 2 October, 2020 \u00a0i nuovi dischi di <strong>Zumtrio<\/strong> e <strong>Minus<\/strong>, <em>Radioscapes<\/em> e <em>ROUND<\/em>, in its <a href=\"https:\/\/temporeale.it\/collection\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Tempo Reale Collection<\/strong><\/a> series the\u00a0new records by Zumtrio and Minus, <em>Radioscapes<\/em> and <em>ROUND<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.digipur.it\/project\/zumtrio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Zumtrio<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>is a Florentine project halfway between structure and improvisation, with a strongly \u201celectric\u201d nature, opening to different languages and ways of interaction, and with an almost limitless expressive variety: these are the main elements of an experience born within Tempo Reale which explores a free and entertaining conception of hospitality. Three musicians with strong links to Tempo Reale, with musical roots as much in the experimental\u00a0<strong>electronic avant-garde<\/strong>\u00a0as they are in\u00a0<strong>research jazz<\/strong>, generating unexpected and surprising sonic, electronic and\u00a0<strong>emotional landscapes<\/strong>.\u00a0The presence of an\u00a0<strong>analog radio<\/strong>\u00a0processed live &#8211; the same one that stands out on the cover image &#8211; offers a possible interpretation towards an idea of plurality.\u00a0The line-up is formed by\u00a0<strong>Francesco Canavese<\/strong>\u00a0on electric guitar,\u00a0<strong>Francesco Giomi<\/strong>\u00a0on the analog radio and synthesizers,\u00a0<strong>Sefano Rapicavoli<\/strong>\u00a0on drums and percussion.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.digipur.it\/project\/minus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Minus<\/a> <\/strong>is a Bologna-based\u00a0<strong>collective<\/strong>\u00a0engaged in the search for new languages \u200b\u200bfor\u00a0<strong>improvisation<\/strong>. The purpose of this research is to find new improvisational methods oriented towards the community construction of a musical direction, rediscovering the pleasure of listening and playing music together.\u00a0<strong><em>ROUND<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is an improvisation practice which is the result of Minus&#8217; research and gives title to their first record. It is a system of rules that guides the relationships between musicians during the performance, and its goal is the development of a modular system, through &#8220;construction modules and diversion modules&#8221;.\u00a0<em>ROUND<\/em>\u00a0is not a preordained chain of events: on the contrary, it describes a series of possible situations and suggests to the performers some paths that can be followed, always leaving them the final choice. In\u00a0<em>ROUND<\/em>\u00a0the musician is invited not only to play but above all to listen, giving space to other musicians, orienting towards the construction of a community sense. Listening, you can perceive an\u00a0<strong>elastic form<\/strong>\u00a0that becomes structured in the making, where the different improvisational situations present themselves in a continuous cycle.\u00a0The name Minus expresses the musical philosophy of the group, influenced by the electroacoustic language: playing less to give each other more\u00a0<strong>space, identity and community<\/strong>. The collective currently has six effective members (<strong>Simone Faraci, Marco Giampieretti, Giovanni Magaglio, Matteo Pastorello, Federico Pipia and Niccol\u00f2 Salvi<\/strong>), but it is often open to collaborations with other musicians. The members of the collective experiment always with different line-ups.
