Affected by the extreme heat, the songs take on a new &#8220;ghostropical&#8221; life \u2014 dressing custom-tailored outfits designed specifically for keyboards and guitars.<\/p>\n<p>The tracklist includes\u00a0<em><strong>Cheese And Moon<\/strong><\/em> and the focus track <strong><em>Little Planner<\/em><\/strong>, from the albums\u00a0<em>Sleeper Grele<\/em>\u00a0(2014) and\u00a0<em>Peacock Eyes<\/em>(2017) by the cult dream-punk band\u00a0<strong>Solki<\/strong>\u00a0led by Altavilla herself, and\u00a0<strong><em>Epidermide<\/em><\/strong>, a dark, elegant song from her debut solo album\u00a0<em>Morsa<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abTwo songs by Solki and one from my solo album tread upon the succulent leaves of an impressionist footbridge spanning past, present, and future \u2014 a vantage point from which ghostly skeletons and other friends can be seen waving hello. A blue and orange mist has passed through them, leaving them in focus, yet faded, and smoky around the edges\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Serena Altavilla<\/strong>\u00a0has performed with many alternative bands since 2004, including\u00a0<strong>Blue Willa\u00a0<\/strong>\u2014 produced by American musician Carla Bozulich and formerly known as Baby Blue \u2014 as well as\u00a0<strong>Solki<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Mariposa<\/strong>. Starting from 2014, she has collaborated with\u00a0<strong>Calibro 35<\/strong>, both in the studio and on stage. In 2021, she released her solo debut album\u00a0<strong><em>Morsa<\/em><\/strong>.
