According to\u00a0Cemento Atlantico<\/strong>, the electronic project of Romagna-born producer and DJ\u00a0Alessandro “ToffoloMuzik” Zoffoli<\/strong>: \u00abI wanted to give new life to some of the tracks on my latest album,\u00a0Dromomania<\/em><\/strong>, and I did so by working with various Italian producers, friends, and collaborators. I like the idea of \u200b\u200blistening to the interpretations of people I respect; I find remixes are new forms of life that change intentions and movements\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Dromomania<\/strong><\/em>, released by Bronson Recordings in the summer of\u00a02024, is the second album by Cemento Atlantico after the cult instant classic debut\u00a0Rotte Interrotte<\/em>\u00a0of 2021. It’s an album between\u00a0electronics and world music<\/strong>\u00a0that evokes the unstoppable desire to travel and thinks of music as a collective ritual, starting from field recordings aimed at telling stories and different cultures.<\/p>\n

This collective ritual is now amplified with the involvement of\u00a0Daniele Baldelli & Matta Dallara<\/strong>,\u00a0TenGrams<\/strong>,\u00a0Bodam Project<\/strong>,\u00a0Clap! Clap!<\/strong>,\u00a0Carte Gold\u00a0<\/strong>(new dance project by Bruno Dorella from legendary experimental noise band OvO),\u00a0Alessio Collina<\/strong>, and\u00a0Amarcord<\/strong>. Seven signature remixes for an overwhelming flow of rhythms from Thailand, India, Nicaragua \u2014 where the monkey on the cover was photographed \u2014 and Panama, blending cosmic sound, dance music, soundscape, ethnic influences, clubbing influences, UK garage, and new wave.<\/p>\n

The first single\u00a0is\u00a0Garawek Khaos [Daniele Baldelli & Matta Dallara Cosmos Remix]<\/em><\/strong>, available today July 10th on all digital platforms.\u00a0Daniele Baldelli<\/strong>, one of Italy’s top DJs pioneer, who in fifty years of career has revolutionized the way of conceiving DJ sets and the clubbing culture, and\u00a0Matta Dallara<\/strong>, internationally renowned producer and sound engineer, have rewritten the coordinates of the hit single\u00a0Garawek Khaos<\/em>\u00a0through the sonic vortices of Cosmic Sound, a unique style coined by Baldelli himself in the early 1970s, still enduring and innovative.<\/p>\n

The remix accelerates the original beats, respects and emphasizes the percussive rhythms, and then overwhelms everything with a massive dose of timeless synths.
