Chiara Amalia is attracted to black, death, and dark sounds. Nicola, on the other hand, loves shoegaze and Italian library music. The record sounds like none of the above.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0mysterious and captivating\u00a0album, from which various singles have already been released, is out today\u00a0<strong>May 8th, 2026<\/strong>\u00a0on CD and digital via well known Italian indie label\u00a0<strong>Dischi Sotterranei<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The complementary contrasts created by Angel Names, with their dreamy mood and the use of two voices, sound like a virgin forest behind a door, like the beating of a pair of wings made of plastic, and a red sky in love.<\/p>\n<p>Produced together with\u00a0<strong>Elmer Hallsby<\/strong>\u00a0(Isolated Youth, Dead Vibrations),\u00a0<em><strong>Angel Names<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0was recorded at \u00a0the Big Tree Studio in Brescia, and then mixed by\u00a0<strong>Martin \u201cKonie\u201d Ehrencrona<\/strong>\u00a0(formerly of <strong>Viagra Boys<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>Live, the duo becomes a quintet, with vocals, drums, bass, guitar, and bass VI.
