VANBASTEN), taken from the debut album <em>PACIFICO<\/em>, to be released on April 18th, 2025 via Dutch label Bordello A Parigi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">Pearz<\/span><\/b><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0is the evocative project of Italian-born, LA-based multi-instrumentalist <strong>Francesco Perini<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span>His sound blends cinematic Italian nostalgia with modern hip hop, electro, French touch, and boogie influences.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">After debuting with the EP\u00a0<\/span><i><span lang=\"EN-US\">Nocturnal<\/span><\/i><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0in 2020, Pearz toured Europe, the UK, Morocco, and the U.S., releasing singles like <em>Social Amnesia<\/em>, <em>Saudade<\/em>, and <em>Blue Winter<\/em>. His debut album,<b>\u00a0<\/b><b><i>PACIFICO<\/i><\/b>, will be released on <strong>April 18th, 2025<\/strong> via the Dutch label <strong>Bordello A Parigi<\/strong>, on vinyl, and all digital platforms. <em><strong>PACIFICO<\/strong><\/em> is the culmination of a five-year <strong>journey<\/strong> through the cities that shaped him: the hometown <strong>Florence, London <\/strong>(where he lived and played for a decade, along with Tess Parks among others), and<strong> Los Angeles<\/strong>. According to him: <\/span>\u00abMoving to Los Angeles was important for the accomplishment of the record. I built a small studio at home and started focusing again on some ideas I had on the computer. The California climate definitely helped me connecting with different sensations\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Drawing inspiration from a mix of <strong>disco music, nu jazz, and Japanese City Pop<\/strong>, <b><i>PACIFICO <\/i><\/b>reflects his eclectic musical evolution. The title <b><i>PACIFICO <\/i><\/b>\u2014 meaning \u201cpeaceful\u201d or \u201ccalm\u201d in Italian \u2014 embodies the album\u2019s theme of the closing experience of his <strong>travels<\/strong>. In his own words:<\/span> \u00abThe tile <em><strong>PACIFICO<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0is a sort of tribute to this moment in my life, in which I faced the final change with a calm that usually does not belong to me, looking towards the end of the West and the beginning of the East, towards this immense sea that bathes the city\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>The album features <strong>collaborations<\/strong> with a diverse range of artists, including <strong>Kuntessa<\/strong> (East London&#8217;s DIY queen), <strong>VANBASTEN<\/strong> (The voice of Roma\u2019s suburbs) Natalie Findlay, Jules Apollinaire (Findlay\/TTRRUUCES\/Suki Waterhouse), Gimmy El Helou (Monte\/The Hacienda), David Bardon, Oscar Robertson (SFJ\/SHOLTO), Ruari Meehan (Tess Parks), Luca Landi and Fabio Ricciolo (both of them from Go!Zilla, and Citt\u00e0 Deserta), Andrea Palombi (The Hacienda), and Jamie Allen.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">The first single <strong><em>International Lovers<\/em><\/strong> <strong>(feat. Kuntessa)<\/strong>, out on February 10th, 2025, has been selected and broadcasted on BBC Radio.\u00a0<\/span>The other song with vocals on a record for the rest of its tracklist entirely instrumental is the brand new single <strong><em>Tropic Of Capricorn <\/em>(feat.
