Out now on all digital platforms,\u00a0BLOW\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>is the first breath of freedom from the upcoming album\u00a0BOHE\u0300ME\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>by\u00a0Kety Fusco<\/strong>, to be released on\u00a0June 13th, 2025<\/strong>\u00a0via the Swiss label\u00a0A Tree In A Field Records<\/strong>.\u00a0BLOW\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>is the gust that tousles your hair, shakes the rules, and reminds us who we are when we let go of our masks. The brand new single by the Italo-Swiss harpist and composer was born from the desire to shed the weight of expectations, to dive into a wind that carries everything away, leaving only the essential.<\/p>\n

With\u00a0BLOW<\/em><\/strong>, the\u00a0harp<\/strong>\u00a0becomes so much more than a traditional instrument: it\u2019s a bridge between the past and the future, between its\u00a0classical roots<\/strong>\u00a0and cutting-edge\u00a0electronic language<\/strong>, towards a new dimension. It\u2019s as if the harp, with its millennial history, found the courage to break its own chains and be reborn with a new voice. \u00abI sought to transform it into something wild and untamed, capable of expressing emotions that transcend tradition, projecting it toward a bolder, unknown future\u00bb, according to Fusco. This track is not just a song; it\u2019s a feeling: the wind slipping through your fingers, the heartbeat rising in your chest, the burst of light that marks the beginning of something new.<\/p>\n

BLOW<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0is supported by a\u00a0videoclip<\/strong>\u00a0conceived by Fusco as an horror short movie, directed by\u00a0Studio Asparagus<\/strong>\u00a0and shot in a Swiss protected natural area. Fusco explains: \u00abI destroyed the conventional idea of \u200b\u200bthe harp. Instead of seeing it as an angelic instrument, I wanted to give it a darker touch. The concept of the video is getting possessed by the harp. There is a transition, with a countdown, from the harp that was in the past to the harp that will come in the future\u00bb.<\/p>\n

After the debut album\u00a0DAZED<\/em>\u00a0and the experimental work\u00a0The Harp – Chapter I<\/em>, critically acclaimed and mentioned also by “The Guardian”,\u00a0BOH\u00c8ME<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is the proper second studio album by Fusco, created in collaboration with the award-winning film composer\u00a0Nicolas Rabaeus<\/strong>\u00a0in Geneva. A track of the album features the legendary Iggy Pop<\/strong>, which has previously selected and broadcasted Fusco’s music on BBC Radio. Every sound in\u00a0BOH\u00c8ME<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>originates from the harp, whose tones have been manipulated to create innovative soundscapes. Among these, the underwater recordings of the harp stand out, merging uniquely with the real and processed sounds of the instrument, crafting a sonic dimension never explored before.<\/p>\n

Kety Fusco\u00a0<\/strong>has transformed her strong academic foundation into a springboard for exploration that has led her to a radical path of sound innovation. Feeling the need to push beyond the boundaries of tradition, she began experimenting with the electric harp, creating an instrumental revolution that redefined the role of the harp in\u00a0contemporary music<\/strong>. Her career has been marked by significant performances on prestigious international stages (Montreux Jazz Festival, Paleo Festival, La Notte della Taranta). Among the highlights is her invitation to perform at the Royal Albert Hall in London, where she achieved a sold-out show. In addition to these notable achievements, Fusco founded the Floating Notes Festival, a pioneering event featuring artists such as Mike Cooper, and Lubomyr Melnyk. She also established Floating Notes Records, the first label dedicated to experimental music in Italian-speaking Switzerland. Among her projects stands the sound library Beyond the Harp, awarded \u00abBest Database of the Month\u00bb by “Musitech”, which expanded creative possibilities for composers and producers. Fusco has received numerous accolades, including an invitation to perform at the United Nations\u2019 Global Festival of Action, and she was invited by Agnes Obel to open her concerts during her tour.<\/p>\n
