The various\u00a0<strong>indie folk<\/strong>\u00a0influences go from Daughter to Taylor Swift, and the words reflect ordinary-universal events and human emotions. In\u00a0<em>Porn Magazines<\/em>\u00a0Prim&#8217;s sound becomes even more elegant and multifaceted, with the use of guitars, bass, drums, keyboards and a gloomy Wurlitzer. The song was mixed by Davide Cristiani at Groundfloor\/Bombanella Studio and mastered by Andrea De Bernardi at Eleven Mastering.<\/p>\n<p>According to Prim: &#8220;<em>Frustration is the main theme of the song. Not being able to achieve one&#8217;s goals, not knowing where one really belongs and which people are really connected to you; these factors lead one to the feeling of frustration.\u00a0<\/em>porn magazines<em>\u00a0is a song I wrote by collecting testimonies from friends and acquaintances, and I put them together by creating an imaginary female character. A &#8216;she&#8217; who is characterised by negative and melancholic traits, but who is searching for herself and her place in the world.
