Clever Square: “Beautiful Boy” is the new single available today via Bronson Recordings

One year after their great return with the 2019 self-titled album, indie rock kids Clever Square release the new single Beautiful Boy, available on all digital platforms from today April 24, 2020 via Bronson Recordings, waiting to be able to resume their live activity and to continue the sessions for the next studio album, expected in autumn.

The lyric video of the song was previewed on Son Of Marketing.

Giacomo D’Attorre, voice, guitar and main songwriter, as well as author of the collage chosen as cover artwork, says that “Beautiful Boy is one of the first songs I wrote, in 2006, and was originally titled Rutherford, Thomson And Bohr because I wrote the lyrics during an hour of Chemistry in high school. It talks about loving oneself, an aspect I have understood only in more recent times. The song came out for the first time in 2008, in the EP I Wish Jelle Was Italian (So We Could Get Wasted Together Every Friday), but during the last few times we have happened to play it again live and therefore we decided to arrange it all over again“. The new version of the song was recorded by Andrea Cola at StoneBridge Studio.
